With-Browning 1878 reflector history

The history of my telescope is still under intensive research, and is a monumental yet pleasurable task. So far I have met dozens of like minded people from around the world, whom I have contacted who have given most generously of their time and expertise. Such is the culture of people who have a passion for history, they all want to share and help and it is a salute to them for they represent the best that humanity has to offer.

Despite me being the primary researcher, I do have several very close and personal friends and colleagues that have gone above and beyond the call of duty and have given vast amounts of their dwindling supplies of time. I will fully record each and every one of them when I come to do this page, which is currently under development.

If anyone would like to make a contribution in terms of information, images or resource leads, please use the contact form by clicking on Contact in the navigation menu of the left of this page.

It is my ultimate wish that not only my own telescopes history will be published here, but also a more general history for telescopes in general, which in itself will become a valuable web resource.

Respectfully yours
Ron Ziemiecki

NOTE: The history text will be uploaded into this space soon.
