This list of telescope manufacturers of the 19th century includes mirror, eyepiece and mount makers, as well as people who made significant contributions to the manufacturer they came in contact with. Although this list only scratches the surface, it represents my effort to remember some of the magnificent men from the halcyon days of telescope making and astronomy.
