Little survives of this aspect of Charles's work. I acquired these two volumes of Meteorological records in 2004, they measure 340 mm x 400 mm. It can be seen that, although Cuthbert died in 1901, books with his name embossed on the cover were still in use in 1903. Perhaps for reasons of space, although Cuthbert Peek was elected a Fellow of the RAS in January 1884, the letters FRAS do not appear after his name.
